Sometimes there is something on our list we are just not willing to address. We know something went wrong, but what happened to us has eclipsed everything that came before it. Maybe we were deeply hurt, and maybe we have every reason to feel the way we do.
But what happened next?
Did that hurt change the way we treated people? Did fear become suspicion? Did anger spill onto people who had nothing to do with it? We don't have to excuse what happened or reopen every wound. We're simply trying to see what became ours.
Sometimes we can't. We're deadlocked, and the next right thing isn't clear.
That's when we PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens.
We pray. We talk honestly with a trusted friend who has followed this path. And we keep moving forward. We don't have to see the whole road. We just need enough light for the next step.
Can you think of a time when you didn't know what to do, kept praying for guidance, and eventually the next right thing popped out? What happened?
